It is a double layer knit and cuffed design with a large pom pom on the top like I had when I was a kid. This has is very warm and well made. Its stretchy acrylic gives room to fit almost anyones head from a child to an adult. The instructions say that this is hand wash ony, so dont throw it in the washer or dryer.
